ü Well, I guess this post has to be in English, cuz I cought myself translating the thoughts. So, We surely are going to find a host, as usual. Arrival: July 21 @ 10:50 pm CET. The places to be visited (probably)
- BMW Museum. The museum is situated near the headquarters of BMW in Munich near the Olympien Park. Admission is 6 EUR for children and students and 12 EUR for the adults. Though, imho it's worth it. The museum was founded in 1972 and according to the comments of visiters, it's a fascinating place, so I guess we're gonna go there and see for ourselves.
- Hofbräuhaus. Probably the biggest beerhouse in Munich. It has average prices and English speaking staff. Though, there is one drawback(or there isn't): there is no smoking area.
- Marienplatz. The central square of Munich. Besides, here are the Old and the New Town Halls. The viewing platform is 2 EUR, which is pretty lame, though :(
- Alter Peter. The oldest parish church in Bavaria. Free entrance to the church, though admission to the tower is 1,5 EUR for Students.
- Frauenkirche. The Gothic Cathedral in Heart of Munich and also the residence of the Archibishop. Tower admission: 1,5 EUR (Students)
- Theatinerkirche. Italian barocco; The church has 2 towers and the entrance is free. I already love it ;)
- Blutenberg. The quite pretty castle in Munich.
- Schloß Nymphenburg. Another pretty castle (or rather palace), in which there is a museum of Man and Nature.
- Englischer Garten (?). A huge park in Munich. But is it really worth our time?
- Chinesischer Turm. The Chinese Tower. Why on Earth do they need it in the downtown? Dunno, still it's pretty funny. And also it's a restaurant with average prices (Menu prices: 32-57 EUR) and a biergarten.
Well, I think that's it. After all we don't have all time in the world for Munich, just one day. So I guess we have to choose where to go.
BTW, If you want to see the places on the map, you can find it here.
