As I said we found a host in Munich and stayed at his place both times in Munich
Arrival: July 21 @ 10:50 pm CET & (actual) August 13 @ 12:07 pm CET
The places we visited
- BMW Museum. The museum is situated near the headquarters of BMW in Munich near the Olympien Park. Admission is 6 EUR for children and students and 12 EUR for the adults. Though, imho it's worth it. The museum was founded in 1972 and according to the comments of visiters, it's a fascinating place, so I guess we're gonna go there and see for ourselves. Honestly, we thought we were here, but in fact both times we were in BMW-Welt, but it was still a perfect place to visit, and FREE.
- Marienplatz. The central square of Munich. Besides, here are the Old and the New Town Halls. The New one looks older than the Old one though ;) Also if you are there, you should use the Apple Store. At least for a free Wi-Fi.
- Alter Peter. The oldest parish church in Bavaria. Free entrance to the church, though admission to the tower is 1 EUR for Students. But the view is definitely worth it!
- Englischer Garten. A huge park in Munich. But is it really worth our time? Actually, it IS. The park is huge. And there are lots of ducks.
- Viktualienmarkt. A huge shopping area, where you can find lots of things, especially edible.
Probably, that's all. Oh, yeah, and the Sex-Shop near the Hauptbahnhof. ;)
